It's that fantastic time of year again, an opportunity to scare the hell out of people and get away with it!
Quiz night went well this week, despite the amount of educated guesses we finished 8th out of a massive 17 teams! Roasties were the order of the night this time. Highlights of the quizzing knowledge include The Shard, Stephanie Powers, Norfolk, Farepack, Shipbuilding, Natalie Wood, Louise Woodward and Miss Marple. Despite coming 8th we were satisfied as there were a few educated guesses which proved to be correct. Although worried about Paul and his inane outbursts and hysterics, he made it through to the end of the night, and we hope he is in a more lucid state next week.
Halloween kicked off with a bit of fun in the office, the odd severed limb in the biscuit tin, filing cabinet, kitchen cupboard etc. As in previous years I was a halloween grump at home and refused to open the door to halloweeners, although I do love it when Nat makes them sing the whole 'Sky is Blue' song before giving them a thing. Further scares lie ahead on Saturday at Joe's birthday party, after all which 3 year old doesn't love illuminated skeletons or killer scarecrows.......
Speaking of Halloween, a cracking website opens its gates to you again tonight. It's definitely worth a check out at www.popcornpictures.co.uk, it contains hundreds of movie reviews, mainly of the horror genre. Well worth a view!
Still not got a walk settled on for the weekend, but I'm hoping to get out on Sunday for a few hours, to finally test my new gear!
